CAMERON POW

Cameron is a theatre, film and television actor, and a British and American dual citizen residing in New York City. He was born and raised in the UK, and after spending several years working in the Marketing industry, and simultaneously studying Acting, he turned professional in 1999.

 

Cameron is currently starring in the Broadway production of THE LION KING, resuming the role of Zazu which he previously performed in the West End and National Touring productions of the show.

 

Other theatre credits include appearances with the cast of The Lion King on THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT (2022), The MACY'S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE (2022), and the ROYAL VARIETY PERFORMANCE in London (2008). Off-Broadway credits include THE 39 STEPS (Union Square Theatre), ACCIDENTALLY, LIKE A MARTYR (Other Side Productions), and THE COMEDY OF ERRORS, KING LEAR, and THE ILIAD-BOOK ONE (Aquila Theatre Company). Regional and Touring productions include HENRY V, JULIUS CAESAR (Folger Shakespeare Theatre, DC), ART (Theatre Jacksonville, FL). THE TEMPEST, THE WRATH OF ACHILLES, KING LEAR, and OEDIPUS (Aquila Touring company).

 

His film work includes roles in the independent films HENRY, THE TRAMPS NEW WORLD, and the soon to be released short film THE KNOWING. He has appeared on television in THE GOOD FIGHT, BLINDSPOT, THE BLACKLIST, FALLING WATER, PERSON OF INTEREST, BASILE, DECEPTION, PAN-AM, and in the web-series OM-CITY (featured in the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival N.O.W. series (available online at omcityseries.com)

Cameron also works as a voiceover and commercial actor, having appeared in a national TV commercial for VONAGE, as the voice of HAROLD THE LLAMA in the trailer for SIMS 4: COTTAGE LIVING, and in industrials for WebMD and BNY Mellon among others.
